1. A person under age 21 may not purchase or consume alcohol. A person under the age of 21 may not order or purchase or possess any intoxicating liquor.
2. A person under age 21 may not possess false identification or use false identification to purchase intoxicating liquor.
3. A person may not sell or furnish alcoholic beverage to someone under age 21. No person may sell, vend, give away, or otherwise supply any intoxicating liquor in any quantity whatsoever to any person under the age of 21 years, except their parent or guardian who may procure for such minor under the age of 21 years for medical purposes only, or the administering of such intoxicating liquor by a duly licensed physician.
4. A property owner may not allow minors to possess or consume alcohol on his/her property. It is unlawful for any owner or occupant of any premises located within the city to knowingly allow any person under the age of 21 years to remain on such premises while in the possession of alcoholic liquor or while consuming alcoholic liquor. Note: Allowing consumption of alcoholic liquor or illegal drugs places the owner or occupant in a position of civil and criminal liability.
5. Zero Tolerance Law. It is illegal for people under the age of 21 years to drive while the weight of alcohol in their blood is .02% or more. A person can lose their driving privilege for being in possession of drugs while a passenger of a vehicle if they are under 21.
6. Possession of illegal drugs. A person may not plant, cultivate, grow, harvest, manufacture, process, or use any controlled (i.e., prescription) drugs prescribed for another. Prescription drugs must be in the original container and labeled with patient’s name. No person shall possess any drug paraphernalia such as pipes, bongs, needles, syringes or other objects, intended for use, or designed for use in introducing controlled substances into the human body.
7. Tobacco products. It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or cause to purchase cigarettes, cigarette papers, cigars, chewing or smokeless tobacco or any tobacco product. It shall be unlawful to sell, cause to be sold any cigarettes, cigarette papers, cigars, chewing or smokeless tobacco or any tobacco product to any person under the age of 18 years.

Parents and other adults who furnish alcohol to a minor may be financially liable in a civil suit brought against them by anyone who suffers injury or property loss because of that intoxicated minor.
