Chartwells

The City of St. Charles School District contracts with the Chartwells company to provide healthy, well-balanced school lunches for our students. The most up-to-date information, including lunch menus and meal prices can be found on the Chartwells website.

Payment

Parents can send lunch money to school daily or may utilize the Cafe Prepay service. Cafe Prepay allows parents to pay for multiple meals at once and the price will be deducted from the balance when the student purchases a meal in the cafeteria. Cafe Prepay allows you to check the balance in your child's account and make payments online.

 

Parents can also prepay for meals or pay for meals daily using cash or check. If sending lunch money to school, please please put it in a sealed envelope and write the following information on the outside of the envelope: student's name, grade, teacher's name, and the amount of money enclosed.

 

Reduced-price or free meals may be available for your child if your family meets the eligibility requirements. Please read the Eligibility Criteria for Free and Reduced Meal Prices to find out if your child qualifies. Application forms for the 2011-2012 school year will be available soon.

Lunch Service Information

In order to expedite lunch service, kindergarten and first grade students will not have lunch options. They will only be served the first lunch choice listed on the Chartwells menu. Second through fourth grade students will be able to choose which menu option they would like.
