GUIDANCE OFFICE
The following are provided by the counselor:
| 1. | Coordinate enrollment procedures between Lewis and Clark Career Center and all St. Charles County schools. |
| 2. | Provide information regarding programs and program openings to high schools, parents and students. |
| 3. | Administer aptitude testing for all prospective enrollees. |
| 4. | Consult with parents, home school principals and counselors concerning student progress. |
| 5. | Provide personal counseling and referrals to outside agencies. |
Lewis & Clark also has a Vocational Resource Educator (VRE) on staff to assist students with Individual Educational Programs. The VRE serves as a liaison to all of the sending high schools in St. Charles County. The VRE also coordinates services with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, facilitates placement in appropriate career and technical education classes/programs, works closely with instructors, parents, and community resources as well as provides resource services as requested by the students.
