Message from the Director
Both students and staff are excited about this school year. Students are in class and working very hard preparing to enter the workforce in the next one to two years. Whether it is designing or building houses; lighting up a building; heating a building or cooling it off; repairing or painting cars; programming or building computers; healing or caring for the sick; repairing engines or feeding our students. All of our students are experiencing the world of work. We are proud of these young men and women as they pursue their career choices.
We hope that the parents of our students will attend your Open House in the fall to see the classrooms/labs that our students work in everyday and take time to visit with the instructors to build the relationships that help make our students successful. Also, each year we have a fall and a spring parent conference to allow a one-on-one conversation with the instructor specifically about your student. There will even be an opportunity for the parents to make the parent/teacher conference appointment at the open house.
Also, in November we will host a Prospective Student Night for students that are sophomores and interested in visiting Lewis and Clark Career Center and the programs we have to offer. Please look at the Calendar section for more information about each event. All of us are so excited that your student chose Lewis and Clark and we look forward to a very productive year.
Please accept our thanks and deep appreciation for your interest in our school.
Sincerely,
Kathy Frederking
Lewis and Clark Career Center Director
